[385. new upcoming blog]

====================================================================
Annoucement: Earthquake had caused too much trouble for us!
====================================================================

I'm on MC today. My old injury came back after I've tried doing chin-ups during IPPT today. Yup, I failed. Whatever la... Anyway for the injury thingy, I'll need to go to have my x-ray done at the hospital. Best is one time jialat den get me out from NS liabilities la.

My right shoulder now hurt quite badly again. When was the last time it was like that? Hopefully I can downgrade permanently so that I can save my ass from hell.

Spent my time continue editting my new blog. I will be officially launching my new blog on 01/01/2007. It will be back to blogspot as I have enough from this blogdrive. It's getting on my nerves. Cannot connect la. Cannot edit until nice nice la. Always down la. Slow la. Cannot auto display unicode for my Chinese text la. Well, blogspot can plus I'm using their beta version using gmail! Yeah! Quite fast actually.

Still think more can be improve on my new blog but have to determine when I'm free. When I have the time, I'll think about it. So do keep a look out and the annoucement on the 01/01/2007!

I've got a bad news yesterday -- I'm being "selected" to transfer to corporate call centre! I don't want to go! Even though I don't really like all my existing new supervisors, but tranferring there will bring more trouble for me! Moreover I cannot reject the transfer! I don't have a choice! I'm gonna miss all my friends in my cluster now... Sad...

[384. bad news]

====================================================================
News of the day: Finally the SL sees 100% after such a long period of time!
====================================================================

Bad news and more bad news. Remeber me saying that I need to work on Christmas Eve + Christmas Day + New Year Eve + New Year Day, where on the Christmas Eve I still need to work scheduled OT? Unlucky and super bad news for most peps right?

Guess what, I've got MORE bad news!!!

Yes, my leave application for Chinese New Year is being rejected! Fuck! I mean isn't it a lil too much? Sheraline mentioned that maybe they'll need to send the Malaysian Chinese back for the festive period. Hello, I'm a Chinese too. So what if I'm local? Don't I need to celebrate too? Plus all the shit of work I need to do during current holidays, isn't it too unfair?

太过分了!

I'm really pissed!

Anyway, I've got my own planning for these period. I don't care even if they blacklist me since I'm not staying here for long. What kinda stupid planning they have been doing?

Tomorrow is Christmas Day and I'm just home not too long ago after my work. Tired? Duh... And yet I'm still working tomorrow on an afternoon shift. So "kind" of them. Anyway, to all my readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

[383. christmas wish]

====================================================================
Rant of the day: Free me...
====================================================================

Back to work tomorrow. It SUCKS! How I wish time will stop at my chalet. My only wish for Christmas is for time to rewind and stop at 20/12/06. I don't mind having no access to computer as long as I get to spend quality time with mum and dear. My one and only wish. Will Santa hear me? I've been a good boy this year...

I've got some briefing in camp on coming Friday. So is my IPPT and I'm sooooooo prepared to fail it. I've got absolutely NO time to train up. It's like get it over and done with. Fail then fail. RT then RT. Whatever la. Waste of my time. Yes it is important to keep the men fit in the country but when everyone have a job to do and not everyone holds onto a 9 to 5 job, it's just simply crap for IPPT as we have a 95% chance of failing it anyway.

To my opinion, for IPPT should be made liable to ALL full time students and if want to make it compulsory then go ahead since most of their time is in school and make no excuses for not exercising. Making IPPT a must for working peps just feel so stupid and when we HAVE TO PASS kind of thing is ridiculous. Fail still have to pay a fine. Huh? No wonder we are labelled as a fine country. Whatever la... Just get it over and done. Pay fine then go ahead. RT request then go ahead. Let them do whatever they want la.

Poly class gathering date yet to confirm and still don't know if there is any x'mas exchange thingy. Haven't even prepare anything yet. I hope I can go of course but I might not be able to be present. Out of the 4 dates given, I'm only free on 1. So sad right?

Working on both coming holidays and their eve. Worse is I'm working scheduled OT on Christmas Eve! What crap!

[382. chalet]

====================================================================
Annoucement: The problem is finally resolved. I love you dear!
====================================================================

Finally, the family chalet ended and everyone is happy. For the past 3 days, it was one of the happiest 3 days I've ever had. Away from work is one thing but spending really quality time with mum and dear is so out of this world. Even though the wet weather was so daunting but still, everything ended nicely.

But of course the rental for the stupid BBQ pit is way too expensive, so we've decided to MAKE one ourselves! And viola, it's done. Made with just simple metal gauze for BBQ, an aluminium tray for turkey/bee hoon and a styro form base! All in all, it cost us less then $10 for the temporary pit! So clever! Will show you peps the masterpiece once I've got the photos uploaded.

Food wise, it's a blast! Sting ray, chicken fillet, Taiwan sausages, chicken franks, cheese sausages, satays, crabsticks, corn, mushrooms, asparagus. It's a buffet! Haha.

And of course due to the irritating wet weather, we have to give Escape Theme Park and Wild Wild Wet a miss but we've done something more exciting in the midst of the short dry spell. No, not "that" thing la you dirty people but a geographical stroll around the seaside and the mangroove swamp and guess what we caught on tape -- a HUGE MONITOR LIZARD! See the following clip:

Cool right? It's really a fantastic "catch" in a natural environment! You might be thinking it can be taken from zoo but I'm telling you NO! It's 100% shot from Pasir Ris Park Mangroove Swamp! But the animal is pretty camera shy so do not disturb it from suntanning.

Back at home now. I'm really rejuvenated from my leave but I'm not sure how long can this last and somehow time seems to pass too fast. Will be back at work on Saturday and I'm working on both Christmas and New Year Eve's and the actual day itself. So disappointing...

[381. whatever]

====================================================================
Rant of the day: Everything that was planned went wrong. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. Why?
====================================================================

Ok, morning gym thingy was cancelled. Rain was too heavy for me to venture to dear's place to meet up as arranged. The weather had been really cranky. Rain season is coming in. Ok, the "rain" I'm refering here is the weather and NOT the latest Korean sensation -- Rain. So before you gals go drooling and gaga over at my blog, WAKE UP!

But of course, the afternoon still not wasted. Time was spent in shopping malls and movie theatres. Here comes my Esprit jeans and tees and goes my $100. But of course, I've got their membership for free! Woohoo! So besides my Goldheart membership, I've now got another one! But to stay as a member with Esprit, I'll need to spend $600 over the next 12 months. Ouch!

Anyway, finally watched Happy Feet. So nice! I'll say a noble movie to point out 2 very important things. Of course, the obvious one is the nature problem that we are facing -- disruption of food chain. If I'm not wrong, this was taught in primary schools on how the food chain works and in the movie, due to heavy hauling of fishes from the ocean, penguins and other animals are affected too. So time to think about our nature's problem peps. The other problem is like what dear had mentioned -- every single individual is unique but people tend to use a different view to see different people. Food for a thought now?

====================================================================

A bad news just came... Shan't mention in details but I feel that I made a totally wrong move by booking the chalet. I've got the urge of cancelling it now but it's already paid for. Feel like banging my head right into the wall in front of me now. I'm in a total frustration right now. Everything that I had been planning don't go the way I wanted to. Planning for a short trip initally was changed to just a mere local getaway just to accomodate the STUPID CONSERVATIVE THINKINGS even goes wrong too! The chalet thingy is the last thing this year that I'm so looking forward to had just been disrupted. Dear must be so heart-broken and so am I and there's nothing I can do to make things feel better.

There's nothing I can say to make dear feel better, to force myself feel better... I feel stupid. I feel dumb. I feel wasted. I feel like SHIT now... I'm not in the mood so if you think you ain't close to me, I think it will be better to stay out of my way this few days else watch out for your arse!

[380. feels so good]

====================================================================
Rant of the day: Weather has been pretty unpredictable this few days.
====================================================================

Back in action to eat normally. No worries, I'm still kicking and alive but as my stomach size as shrunk, I can't take it as much food as previous. The amount that I can take in feels like I'm back to the period when I just POP from Tekong. Hopefully it keep it that way so that I don't over intake food.

Breaking away from my detox period feels so good...

Anyway, my advance pay is in and yes, time for some minor shopping as a reward for me suffering so much in the job. I've reserved a pair of jeans and t-shirt from Esprit to be collected tomorrow at Raffles City outlet. Well, all in all it should cost me about $100++ or so.

Back into shopping feels so good...

Body ain't as aching as badly. Will be going gym tomorrow morning with dear to work out a lil. Well, to sweat a lil and hopefully the free-weights section will not be as crowded as usual so that I can work out some of my muscles. When was the last time I really do something about them?

When the body does not feel so pain feels so good...

Will be watching movie tomorrow... FREE! Woohoo! A pair of complimentary tickets from dear's company!

[379. today]

====================================================================
Rant is the day: I still feel the aches everywhere...
====================================================================

Those metal fixtures in Athiah's leg are super SCARY! They are as long as our BBQ skewers! OMG! Went to visit her today with Benazir and Hamdy and it's good to see Athiah going on well except that she has to move around in her clutches. The long stretch of bandages are damn scary. When she showed us the actual metal plates in her leg, we almost faint.

Think of the movie Saw.

But good news from Athiah, she's getting engaged next year! I'm so happy for her. But how come she's yet to intro us her new beau? Ok la, from the photographs, he looks decent.

It'd also quite a catching up session ever since we were all seperated to different clusters. Still love those days whe we were all under training phase at NSA. Just study. No stress. Only thing comes from passing the test every week. Remembering the late night studies at Starbucks. Morning curry puff. Sentosa trips. Clubbing at gay pubs. Everything is so memorable.

Today is the last day of my diet-cum-detox programme. Ok, I've lost just a lil weight because my pants ain't as tight as previous but there's more work to be done. But I do feel better now. At least my bowels can go on a more normal pace and not that I need to "push" and "push" like giving birth.

My skin is also getting better. See, getting away from office is a wise choice. My skin was so dry that I start to itch every now and then and flakes started to appear on my thighs and arms. It's such a turn off! Yes, I do use those body lotion and I do see the effect but it does not get any better after some time.

Next week is my family chalet. I can't wait...

[378. diet]

====================================================================
Rant of the day: I love CoCo Lee's songs! Thanks dear for the latest Coco's album.
====================================================================

My thighs ache like hell! Results from not going training for so long... Haha. Diet programme still on-going and I'm surviving really well. I'm trying to take in minimal carbohydrate every meal, preferably zero carbo diet. Breakfast still as per normal except no oily food like fried carrot cake or bee hoon. Lunch will be pure fruits only diet. Dinner will try to cut to minimum soup base food like plain fish soup or porridge.

But the idiotic pasam malam downstairs is SO TEMPTING! Fried wing. Fishballs. Fried wonton. OMG! Eric, you are NOT going to eat them! Discipline!

Anyway, despite my aching legs, I still went for a short jog just now to aid my fat burning process. And I'm so going to die because I can barely do 3 chin-ups! Die. My IPPT confirm fail. But whatever la.

Meeting dear for lunch later. No I'm not eating. Just to accompany her for her lunch then going back home. So it's mapling time for now.

[377. training]

====================================================================
Rant of the day: How to loose my "family pack" in 1 week?
====================================================================

I just made a guest appearance at Taekwondo training ground just now and I've brought back a few injuries. Ouch! It's like more than  6 months without training and I feel my bones and muscles going to break apart. Training attendance is pathetic. Where has the morale go?

Anyway, today's training is more like a catching up for me. Once I've touch down on the ground, it's time to catch up. Things like Junqing being out of job. Veenoth coming back to school for studies. Same for Arvind. Santuna graduating soon. New chairperson. Kelvin getting fat but still very very charming. Sir Vincent getting more and more busy with work. Weiping's stories in camp. Tournament issues. So familiar and yet so distant.

But I can't be part of everything and as we grow older, there's some stuff we need to sacrifice. I've got a job to do. Not that I'm totally not free but I wouldn't be able to make it for next day work if I come for training. I've got a relationship to manage. I've got colleagues to mingle. I've got my family to attend to. But, I'm only given 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's a fair share. Moreover I'm getting older and my body does not allows me to do all the things like I used to do. Energy ain't that good anymore.

But I've really enjoyed the training just now, well, minus the pain of course. I've got a super huge bruise on my left forearm and an internal swelling on my right forearm. My right in-step is swollen too. I've got bruises on both my lower limps. Ok, I feel like so last time when I'm at training.

I'm not sadist ok but just thinking when will it be my next training?

Anyway, I've got more then a week of break from work. I'm so looking forward... Think about my beauty sleep. Think about my diet process. I've got so much things to do!

Some words for my dear -- your cake is soooooo delicious that I am trying VERY hard to resist not eating since I'm on a diet. I've still got a last piece in my fridge. Should I save it for my mum?
