[98. workxercise]

Ok, ripped this off from one of my email attachments and it's really really funny! So, enjoy laughing!

Have you ever wondered why office staff is always dead tired? They are tired by the end of the day and companies require no further physical fitness programmes for their employees. The reason is that EVERYONE gets enough exercise by:

1. Jumping to conclusion
2. Beating around the bush
3. Running down the boss
4. Going around in circles
5. Dragging their feet
6. Passing the buck
7. Climbing the ladder
8. Wading through paperwork
9. Pulling strings
10. Throwing their weight around
11. Stretching the truth
12. Bending the rules
13. Pushing their luck

No wonder they are all dead tired at the end of their working day!

[97. lazy]

I am so LAZY! I'm suppose to wake up this morning for a jog and yet I can't resist the temptation of the cooling weather and my welcoming bed! I went back to my lala land almost immediately. But who can deny this morning's weather isn't good for sleeping eh?

Well, just reached home after my bike lesson again and remember my previous few post that I've mentioned about the phobia of entering Figure 8 course and Crank course? Well, I've overcome it finally. Well, not perfecting the skills of moving within but at least, my heart don't pump like the last time now and I don't screw up that often anymore. Slope as usual was a piece of cake.

And what a close shave that was! It started drizzling right after our lesson! Phew!

Tomorrow will be a pretty long day perhaps. I've got a job briefing in the morning and then later in the afternoon, I'm going over to Creative to repair my player! Ok, this is the annoying part! My player wasn't even a year old but the earphones wires are already damaged! And perhaps due to it's small size, the battery cover is about to break off too! Argh! after going to Creative, gonna go for TKD training. Ok, I'll play smart this time round -- bring my guards down! Haha.

[96. rain]

"Rain drops keep falling on my head..."

Ok, not literally falling on my head but right now, at this very instance, it's raining cats and dogs outside my window. It's really a nice weather to sleep in however. But perhaps I've enough of sleep in bed and I'm kinda wondering when will the sun shine again? Ok, let's not get too emotional ya. Haha.

I was looking out of my window just now and realized it's suppose to be autumn now. The huge old tree in front of my block is withering. The leaves are turning yellowish. The branches are getting bare. There aren't any flowers blooming on the tree. It's really a beautiful sight while the wind was blowing and the leaves are falling at the same time. It's so much like the Korean dramas isn't it? Always beautiful. But damnit, I don't have a camera to capture that instance! Darn! What a waste! Ok, in order to see such instances again, you can alway donate to the "Buy Rice a Digital Camera Fund" ya! Then I can always capture all these moments for you! Keke...

Ok, it's so cold right now that my hairs are standing! *shivers

Ya know, I use to walk in the rain when I was younger, well, much younger. The feeling of the cooling rain-drops wakes me up, refreshes me and at the same time, slaps me hard to let me know how this world is operating. The facts of life and the reality that we all have to face is scary. The pain that life had gave me is unforgettable. The scar that life had gave me is unerasable. I've been learning the word "life" since I was in Primary 2. Well, perhaps you might not even remember the classmate that was sitting next to you. I do. Because since that age, I've learnt what was being betrayed felt like. I've learnt what was being pushed around felt like. Everyday is a learning day for me since Primary 2. On those variety shows, they like to use "Xi Nu Ai Le" (Happy, Angry, Sad, Joyous) to describe human feelings. I've known way much more type of feelings then that and experienced every single one of them till now.

Well, ups and downs are everyday stuff. I've been learning to look at things on a brighter side and on a lighter note. Well at least, I don't feel as "heavy" as I was back then now. Ok, not that I'm losing weight la, you get the drift.

So, when will this rain stops? It better be. I'm meeting mum for dinner later. It's her birthday tomorrow so we are having this little advance celebration.

Hmmmmmmm, wondering how's Xuan doing at Australia now? Hope he don't kill sumTing!

[95. shagged out]

I am totally SHAGGED OUT!

After bike lesson yesterday, Went home to pack my stuff for TKD and I'm totally unprepared for sparring AGAIN! Thought they say that there will only be 1 sparring session per week and Tuesday we already had our sparring le. Hmmmmm.

Well anyway, they started off with circuit sparring. Which means the entire class will stand in 2 rows facing each other and start sparring for about 1 to 2 minutes then there will be a change in partners. It went on for quite sometime and I tell you, it's one of the longest circuit sparring I've ever done. Then it was shadow sparring, whereby the instructors will hold onto 2 hand-mit (hand targets) to mimick the opponents' movement and target exposure while we have to chase and kick or counter. I tell you, this one is damn shag. Then I don't know what's going on when suddenly they decided to get all the Brown belt and above to do sparring sessions with all the juniors! It went on and on till I almost collapse, not including the time where my precious groin got kicked! Ouch! I couldn't even stand up, I mean on my feet! What are you thinking?

And guess what? Right after training, I've got a call from Kailoong, informing me that they will be going Dbl O! And entrance before 2230H is free! Yeah right! Looking at the clock, it was already 2130H and I'm still in NYP. How to make it on time? I haven't reach home, haven't had my dinner, haven't bathe, haven't change up, haven't wash my tobok. Wah, so last minute activation! More over right after my training, my left arm was badly bruised, like being tortured while my right arm couldn't bend upwards fully! Ouch! Both my shin were bruised too. My in-step was slightly swollen. Ouch! But nevertheless, I went, though at a later time with Aaron and JJ.

Some unhappiness here and there when Aaron's friend couldn't enter due to age constraints (Aaron, why didn't check?) but we all went in. Danced all night and ended the young night at Geylang with a sumptous meal of soya bean and tau huey! Haha.

And I never knew, there's so much prositution going on at Geylang after so many to stop all these activites by the gahmen. Hmmmmmmm.

[94. rain rain]

"Rain rain go away, come again another day!"

How I wish this was true just now while I was having my bike lesson half-way. It started pouring like a major storm. Heavy rain, poor visibility and strong wind. And I thought Lesson 2 might be a breeze! Yeah right! I fell down for goodness sake while I mounted kerb don't know how many times! Ok, for a start, we have to complete a Figure-8 Course within 11 seconds, followed by a Crank-Course for 6 seconds. Now, this Crank-Course is NOT the same as those you do for cars, this is much much narrowier! Plus rain, plus wind, plus phobia, I tell you, it is sooooooooooooo hard! I mounted kerb here not once but TWICE! And one of it, I fell while balancing myself on the kerb. Mounted kerb in Figure-8 once. Stalled my engine in it too for about 2 times!

Darn!

Then the slope. Ha, this was unexpectedly easy! It's so easy that I clear it at 1 go! Piece of cake.

After the lesson, my tee was wet. My jeans was wet. My socks were wet. My shoes were flooded. My gloves were wet. Everything is wet except my underwear! Wah kaoz! And guess what is the best news? The rain stopped almost immediately after the lesson! What the heck?!? Wah, thanks alot ah rain diety! Haha.

Ok, back home, dry myself up and get ready for training. But I pretty shag already. Haha. I better not fall into the lala land later during training. Bleah!

[93. tan-lines]

Ok, just when you though only girls get ugly tan-lines after staying in the sun, you are WRONG! After yesterday's lesson, I've got 2 extremely ugly tan-lines on both of my fore arms! And I was only in the sun for only a short while! Wah kaoz!

Why am I getting that ugly tan-lines you might ask? You see, for all student's taking bike lessons at SSDC, will have to wear gloves n protective gear. Now, the glove will only cover up your hand right? The elbow guard will only cover up the elbow. So, now left the uncovered part and viola, here comes the tan-lines when the sun comes up. Damn!

It's so ugly! So please promise me that you would laugh when you see my arms ok?

And gosh, my bike lesson later on is at 1440H. Hope there's no sun but it's raining now! What the heck? I better don't slip and fall. Saw a guy yesterday while doing crank course fell. Ouch!

[92. network marketing]

Now, it might sound hilarious but last night, I really went for a presentation for network marketing for the first time in my life. Yes, it's interesting to know about such stuff but, still, I don't quite trust such things ya. They do have ideas which are pretty well made but still, the question is trust. Ok, although I haven't tell Desmond that I'm not interested but I'm sure he'll call me this few days. Ok, now... how should I tell him that I'm not interested? Hmmmmmm...

The presenter was pretty witty and fast. Loud, clear, funny and confident. Ok, I think not many peps I've seen has that kind of "speaking qualities" and that's why he stands out almost instantly while he speaks ya. Ya know, presenting on their biz plans and stuff, then goes onto their courses. Ok, perhaps that's what every other network marketing does but I'm not amazed la basically. But it's good to see familiar faces around like Desmond and Adrian. It brings back memories.

Anyway, the presentation and stuff like that went on till quite late at night and phew, managed to catch the last few trains back home. Well, save on my cab fare. I'm pretty broke ya know. And plus my bike lessons on-going, I'm going to "declare" bankrupt soon! So, who would like to sponsor me for all my bike lessons? Haha. Nah, just joking and I doubt anyone would do that either! Bleah. But hey, Jeffrey got me a temp job with Osram to set up some counters and stuff for their upcoming promo. Not bad ya know, for 5 days work, I get to recieve $7/h! Not bad, just enough to cover some of my lessons! Yeah!

Just reached home after my bike lesson and guess what? I've clear my Lesson 1 and tomorrow I proceeding to Lesson 2! Finally! And I thought the instructor might not clear me for today's lesson since I couldn't do the cornering thingy well. No, I suck in that! Haha. I couldn't keep in lane after I turn! Shit! But he still pass me. Phew!

Got my stitches removed finally and viola, I can chew properly with my left side! How comfortable!

[91. meiji]

I love yoghurt and I tell you, Meiji produces one of the best yoghurt I've ever tried! Low in fat and contains milk calcium. The fruits comes in huge pieces! Yummy. Strawberry flavour is the best, followed by Aloe Vera. Mmmmmmmm. I'm going to have one cup later.

[90. rock-bottom]

After the TKD training just now, my emotions had almost hit rock-bottom... well, almost...

The basics were ok asa usual. Nothing changed and that's precisely why I'm feeling down. I'm not improving. It's been almost 5 years and now, holding on to a black-tip, I think I don't deserve the belt. I suck big time! Sparring was terrible. I was terrible. I suck. Chief Instructor was disappointed. I was disappointed. "Ni Hao Xiang Mei You Jing Bu Dao Hor?" (It seems that you had not improve at all right?). All I can afford was a light nod and a forced smile. What else can I say? It seems that I had reached my peak. I can't break through!

I was walking back home from the MRT.

An angry old lady. An unapologetic young girl. Fast cars. Slow bikes. The bus-stop. Dim street lights. Still a busy MRT station. A noisy taxi. An injured left arm. Frantic roaches. Falling leaves. Light breezes. My MP3 player. Clay Aiken's Solitare playing. The song seemed so long and yet the things around me seemed to be passing by and I hardly had anymore strength to make more notice around me. My legs weigh a tonne. My backpack weigh even more although it only carries my TKD tobok. The words of my Chief Instructor still recalls, "Ni Hao Xiang Mei You Jing Bu Dao Hor?"... "Ni Hao Xiang Mei You Jing Bu Dao"... "Ni Mei You Jing Bu Dao"... "Mei You Jing Bu"...

I suck I suck I suck!

What was I doing when I was sparring with Zhengliang? What was I doing? Where were my planned moves? Why was I starting to panic in the middle when facing someone lower then my belt level? Why do I stand there and went blank? What am I waiting for when the target is open? Where are all my reactions? Why am I holding onto this belt when I suck? Why?

My emotions had almost hit rock-bottom... well, almost...

[89. case]

Today seems exceptionally warm as compared to pass few days. I'm looking outta my windows now and gosh, the sun is scorching hot! Even the air feels warm as I breathe in. Darn, then I guess I'll be like gasping for oxygen later during training.

Just came back home with mum from Citibank to deal with some of her investment and stuff like that. Hmmmmmmm, the lady seems nice... and very pretty of course. Haha. From the stuff on her desk, she's the Top Sales in Citibank this year! Wow, kewl!

After that was lunch at Cartel. Then shop for some grocery and stuff and now, viola, I'm back home. Tired, sleepy... I seems to be incurring a sleep debt but I'm wondering why... Hmmmmmm...

Anyway, read some of the reports on the little girl that was being "thrown" down by an ex-air stewardess. I don't know if I should feel sad for the lady. Well, actually I pitied both the lady and that little girl. Something that was wrongfully did to the lady by the little girl's parents caused her death. A message from God perhaps? Retribution? I seriously think it's time for the parents of the little girl to think about what they had done to the lady. Although it's really a misfortune for the little girl to die but it could've been prevented isn't it if you had not done anything wrong to the lady right? Have both her money and body cheated. Sad. I felt sad for the lady too. But she could've been more calm when handling such issues ya. But when your emotions are being totally destroyed, how can you still control your thoughts? I think I'll jump.

Gosh, enough of this case le.
